We decided to feature an all-female bill for the first time. Headlined by the fantastic and trailblazing Shazia Mirza, hosted by the sublime Noreen Khan (BBC Asian Network) and supported by a gaggle of hilarious girls who are up and coming local names in comedy, we had a packed house at Kala Sangam. It was an evening of big names and big laughs! They’re bold, they’re brown – and they definitely brought the house down!
